Bylaw - 0167.4 Recess/Adjournment

The Board may at any time recess a meeting. A recess is a short intermission or break within a meeting that does not end the meeting or destroy its continuity as a single gathering.

The Board may adjourn, or end, a meeting.

The Board may also adjourn to an adjourned meeting. An adjourned meeting is a meeting to continue the same business or order of business that has been set for a definite time. This adjournment does not end the session. The time, date, and place must be announced before the adjournment takes place. The adjourned meeting shall take up its business at the point in the agenda where the motion to adjourn was acted upon.
