Regular school attendance is required by Indiana State Law for all children, ages seven (7) through sixteen (16).
Every student attending school must:
A. attend regularly and punctually;
B. conform to regulations of the school;
C. obey promptly all directions of his teachers and others in authority;
D. observe good order and propriety of deportment;
E. be diligent in study;
F. be respectful to teachers and others in authority.
A student shall be considered tardy if s/he is not in the designated space at the time stipulated by the teacher and/or the principal.
Any student participating in an athletic event, or any other school activity, must be in attendance for that school day on which this particular activity takes place, whether it is an afternoon or evening event.
