Administrative Guideline - 8330e Student Records (Student and Parent Lists)

The release of classroom lists containing students' names, parents' names and addresses shall be carefully controlled by the following rules:

A.     Such a list for a classroom or homeroom group may be distributed as a service to the children and parents of that specific room.

B.     A composite list for an entire school and/or grade level may be given to the PTO for the direct use of that specific organization.

C.     No other use shall be authorized unless specifically approved by the Superintendent.

D.     Under no circumstances shall lists be provided to commercial and/or profit-making organizations, or to any one individual and/or several individuals for private gain.
