The Director of Human Resources shall recommend specific teacher assignments for approval of the Superintendent.
The teacher shall hold an appropriate license for the area to which s/he is to be assigned.
Any teacher may be assigned to any position within the Corporation if s/he is so qualified. Contracts shall not be issued for specific grades, specific buildings, or specific subjects.
Assignments shall be based solely on the teachers' training, experience, and ability to perform the duties required of the available position.
Prior to approval of any teaching assignment, an extensive evaluation shall be conducted relative to:
A. the contributions the proposed teacher may make to student and Corporation welfare;
B. the qualifications of the proposed teacher as compared to other candidates applying for the same position;
C. the personal desires of the building administrator where such vacancy exists;
D. the personal desires of the teacher.
